Consequences of Misrepresentation

This page outlines the consequences of misrepresentation, false claims, or inaccurate information provided by users of PT Indonesian Digital Music Group (“IDMG”).

By using our services, you acknowledge that all information, metadata, and content submitted must be truthful, accurate, and lawfully authorized.

1. Definition of Misrepresentation

Misrepresentation includes, but is not limited to, false or misleading statements regarding ownership, authorship, rights, licenses, identities, or any other material information related to submitted content.

2. Examples of Misrepresentation

• Submitting music without owning or controlling the required rights
• Providing incorrect songwriter, composer, or ownership information
• Falsifying metadata, ISRC, ISWC, or artist identity
• Claiming authorization on behalf of another party without consent
• Engaging in fraudulent streaming or artificial manipulation

3. Immediate Actions by IDMG

If misrepresentation is suspected or confirmed, IDMG may take one or more of the following actions without prior notice:

• Reject or remove the affected content from distribution
• Withhold or freeze royalty payments related to the content
• Disable or terminate the user’s account
• Report violations to digital platforms or relevant authorities

4. Financial & Legal Liability

Users are fully responsible for any financial losses, penalties, claims, or legal disputes caused by misrepresentation. This includes reimbursement of royalties already paid and any costs incurred by IDMG due to third-party claims.

5. Good Faith & Correction

If inaccurate information is submitted unintentionally, users must immediately notify IDMG and cooperate fully to correct the issue. Failure to do so may be treated as intentional misrepresentation.

6. Relation to Other Agreements

This page forms an integral part of IDMG’s Terms and Conditions and Distribution Agreement. In the event of a conflict, the stricter provision shall apply.
